End-User License Agreement

This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you and Slashdev LLC (“Slashdev”, “we”, “us” or “our”) governing your use of the slashdev.io website, our client and talent platforms, and the applications, tools, and software services we operate (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data and forms part of this Agreement. For commercial engagements (hiring engineers through Slashdev, or working as talent in our network), the applicable signed agreements and the Slashdev Platform Terms govern in addition to, and where they conflict take precedence over, this Agreement.

License

Subject to this Agreement, Slashdev grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Slashdev and its licensors.

Accounts

When you create an account or submit a form on the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account, and you must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach. You may not use a username that impersonates another person or entity, infringes third-party rights, or is offensive.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to, and not to permit others to:

• use the Service in violation of applicable law or regulation, or for any fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works of the Service or its content, except as expressly permitted;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Service, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law;
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, probe or test its vulnerability without authorization, or circumvent access controls;
• scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service through automated means without our prior written consent; or
• use the Service to transmit malware or unsolicited commercial communications.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Slashdev LLC and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of the United States and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent. Intellectual property terms for billable client work are set out in the applicable engagement agreements and Platform Terms.

Third-Party Services and Integrations

The Service may contain links to, or interoperate with, third-party websites and services that are not owned or controlled by Slashdev — for example payment, banking, and accounting platforms (such as Stripe, Wise, and Intuit QuickBooks), analytics providers, and collaboration tools. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party’s own terms and privacy policy, and Slashdev is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services. Where our systems connect to a third-party platform, we access only the data reasonably needed for the integration’s purpose, handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or other feedback about the Service, you grant us the right to use it without restriction or compensation, and it is deemed non-confidential.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, at our sole discretion, including for a breach of this Agreement. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability — survive termination.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance. Slashdev does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that it will meet your requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Slashdev LLC, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses — resulting from (i) your access to, use of, or inability to use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; or (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Slashdev LLC and its licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from (a) your use of and access to the Service, or (b) your breach of this Agreement.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of this Agreement is not a waiver of that right. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. This Agreement, together with the documents it references, constitutes the entire agreement between us regarding the Service and supersedes any prior agreements regarding the Service.

Changes to This Agreement

We may modify or replace this Agreement at any time at our sole discretion. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. By continuing to use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by them; if you do not agree, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
