Tramp GPS is a mobile platform for the electrical trades. When a storm takes out the grid, linemen and storm contractors across the US need to know where the work is, sign up fast and coordinate with each other. The app carries storm-call alerts and job postings (1,200+ posted so far), direct messaging, union local information, wage and contract data and a vendor directory, free for its 30,000+ union members.
We built the mobile app and continue to serve as the ongoing CTO for the project: infrastructure, analytics and releases, and the product direction that keeps the community growing.
